Paul has been struggling off and on for several weeks now with GI problems. And today he is just beat and not feeling so great. This started slowly in Africa but seems to be getting worse. He will need to visit the doctor when we get home.
Consequently, we cancelled our planned excursion for the day.
We were taking a boat out to see and visit some of the floating islands on Lake
Titicaca. It would have been an interesting
visit. Instead, Paul spent most of the
morning sleeping. He had a very light,
bland lunch…mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Hopefully he will get over this soon.
This afternoon we will be visited at the hotel by a
technician to do a COVID test that we will need for our Amazon River cruise in
a couple of days. We are both looking
forward to that. We are really hoping to
get good wildlife viewing.
