11-24-21 – Day of Leisure

Paul is still a bit under the weather and we can’t seem to walk 50 meters at this altitude without gasping for breath.  We are staying in for much of the day, just taking it easy.  

We did venture out to do a small bit of sightseeing...

We stopped by an Irish pub to see about lunch, hoping they had soda bread and soup.  No luck, they had mostly Mexican food!  (They are apparently famous for their bar.)

And then headed to lunch at a restaurant recommended by our guide.  It was just off the main town square.  Food was Italianish and very good.  We took photos going and coming but didn’t do any real exploring as we gasping for breath too much.

We both took naps and then later had dinner in the hotel…couldn’t even bring ourselves to venture out.
